Custom Foot Orthotics

Your feet are the foundation of your body

What Are Foot Orthotics

A foot orthotic is a device that can be discretely inserted into the shoe to support, align, prevent and/or accommodate foot abnormalities and improve how the foot functions.

What Do They Do

As an interface between the foot and the shoe, foot orthotics help in many feet and lower limb pain. Orthotics also help foot complications related to diabetes and arthritis.

How Long Do They Last

With proper care they should last two years. Some rigid orthotics are made to last longer.

Who Covers The Cost

Most private insurance companies cover all or part of the cost of orthotics. Some public insurance as well. The cost of your orthotics may be eligible for inclusion in your income tax reports.

Do I need Foot Orthotics

There are signs of biomechanical malfunctions that would require foot orthotics.

To name some: A burning sensation under your feet, corns and calluses, deformed toes, problems finding comfortable-fitting shoes, back pain, frequent ankle sprains, bunions..

And to name pathologies: Metatarsalgia, Plantar fasciitis, Morton’s neuroma, Heel spurs, Hallux valgus, Clubfoot, Flat foot, Knee pain, Back pain,..

We recommend that you consult your physician first. Sometimes a foot pain can be addressed using other methods.
